A quick look at the 2020 Lexus UX

Introduced last year, the Lexus UX quickly made a name for itself with its impressive list of features and affordable price. Only model in its segment to offer a hybrid powertrain option, the UX also stands out in the fuel economy department.

For 2020, the new Lexus UX gets a few changes including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability now standard. Overall, however, the UX remains the same in 2020. It is still the most affordable option in its segment, one of the safest small SUVs you can buy, and the only hybrid luxury SUV in its price range.

“The launch of the 2019 UX has been one of our most successful ever.  Canadians have really embraced the UX’s blend of electrification, performance and style.  We’re thrilled more than 95% of UX purchases in Canada have our award-winning hybrid electric powertrain,” said Robert Tsang, Director of Lexus in Canada.  “For 2020, we’re making the UX even more compelling with the addition of our next generation connected vehicle technology and smartphone connectivity.”

The entry-level Lexus UX is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine that delivers 168 horsepower. The available hybrid engine offers 181 horsepower and averages less than 6.0 litres per 100 kilometres.

All 2020 Lexus UX models come with Lexus Safety System + 2.0 standard which provides a wide range of driver assistance technologies. To learn more about the 2020 Lexus UX, contact us today at Erin Park Lexus!
