Lexus vehicles added another significant award to their trophy case earlier this month by receiving the most Vincentric Best Balue Awards in Canada in the latest 2022 Vincentric study.
Every Lexus vehicle that received a 2022 Best Value award had a hybrid powertrain which isn't surprising as the cost of ownership of hybrid vehicles significantly improving according to Vincentric. Specifically, the Lexus NX hybrid SUV which was introduced to the market this year as well as the Lexus RX hybrid, the Lexus ES hybrid and Lexus LS hybrid model all stood out in their respective segments when it comes to value.
Vincentric calculates the value of a vehicle by looking at a range of variables that include the cost of maintenance, the cost of financing and leasing, depreciation, and even things like fuel consumption to determine the cost of owning a particular vehicle. It then looks at all of the vehicles in a given segment and compiles an average and then finally compares each vehicle to that average.
That means that the Lexus vehicles described above cost significantly less than the average cost of other luxury vehicles in their segments to own and buy.
