Lexus stands out with its hybrid vehicles in 2021

Lexus has led the way in terms of electrified luxury vehicles on the market end it once again had an amazing year when it comes to hybrid vehicle sales in 2021. With one of the most extensive lineups of hybrid luxury vehicles on the market today, and the arrival of even more hybrid vehicles this year, Lexus should have no difficulty maintaining its impressive sales numbers in 2022.


Overall Lexus sales in 2021 reached 6,574 units sold, which represents an increase of 26.5% over 2020. Highlights of the Lexus lineup last year include the Lexus UX Hybrid which saw its sales increase by 32% to reach 3,282 units sold. The Lexus RX Hybrid saw its sales increase by 63.1%, finishing with 1,805 units sold.


This year, Lexus is bringing the all-new Lexus NX to the market which not only features an improved hybrid powertrain, but also a brand-new plug-in hybrid version. This model will join the already extensive Lexus hybrid vehicle lineup that includes the Lexus ES, Lexus RX, Lexus UX, and the Lexus LS Premium sedan.
